Franklin aPower 2

The FranklinWH aPower 2 is a 15 kWh home battery with 10 kW of continuous output and a 15-year warranty. It works with the FranklinWH aGate, which manages solar, grid, generator and battery power for the house. For Middle Tennessee homes that want more of the house on backup, including central air, aPower 2 is one of the strongest single batteries we install.

Where aPower 2 fits

• Bigger backup: 10 kW of continuous output gives more room for heavy loads than most single batteries.
• Works with or without new solar: it can store solar, grid or generator power, which suits homes that already have a standby generator.
• Expandable: more aPower units can be added to the same system.
• Farms and shops: larger storage makes sense for well pumps, shop loads and homes at the end of long rural lines.

Good to know

We size every battery around the loads you actually want to run in an outage, and we check your electrical panel before we design. There is no federal homeowner tax credit for systems installed after December 31, 2025.
